Hello,
I know, I know,.... It's Thursday!!!
Happy February 26th !

Well,
I've been such an excited doggie, my masters did it! Yep, they loosened
the purse strings and took me on vacation for a nice long weekend.....
and since they even took Monday off for me,... well....
I got kinda confused on the days and thought today was Wednesday...
I R So Sorry!
Forgive me, this poor puppy who has the hardest time reading a calendar.

Ya know, a calendar is only good if you know what today actually is!

Anyway, we went on a nice trip to..... New Jersey, Hey, they tried.... :Ol
Actually is was very pretty there, we went to the shore, and I walked
all over the beach and even ran once,...to chase down some of those ugly
old seagulls. Their BIG!
Of course that was after I got caught by a small wave on
the shores edge..... JEEPERS!
Yes, that was a bit of a shocker in February.... let me just say that
the water was at least 40 degrees below Tepid!

I'm still a tired doggie after my big vacation, and I need a lot of rest till
next Wednesday,
so I will say, so long for now. I have a picture from vacation I will add
next week, I promise. I have to get them developed..... Yeah sure,...
I bet nobody is falling for that one any more,... Ha!
Next week I promise.... I gotta pick out the best one for ya'll....!

and a fine day to ya'll.

...It's a day of remembrance for me.....
Happy Birthday in heaven to grandpa JH - we all miss you!

I've been thinking a lot lately, and ya know that's dangerous
for me. ~ So today, I will offer up a little observation.

It seems that gas prices have come down quite a bit from
the original ridiculous prices!
So.........
don't ya'll think it might be time for the masters to open up
the wallets and consider taking me on a nice country ride?
Or possibly a small vacation?? ~ I've been laying around this
place all winter, just being as good as I can be! :o)

Speaking of gas prices.... I can't help but notice that folks still
drive in and fill up at a station that's clearly 10 cents more than
the one less than a block anyway! ~ I honesty don't understand
this thinking!??
Are folks actually too lazy to pull out, drive a block, and pull in again?
Do they seriously want to give their hard-earned money to a place
that's so obviously gouging,... do you?

Anyway, I'm not an expert but I think that if people would take the
little bit of extra time to simply drive away from these
higher price at the pump places,
it's quite possible they'd put them out of business,
or at least create a Fun Gas War! :o)

So, let's try that next time, and see what happens!
More affordable country rides for me!!!!!
Whatever,... I really shouldn't worry about such things until it starts
happening with,.... Milk Bones!!! ~ HOL (howl out loud)

Hmmmm,
Is it ever gonna get warm again !?
I know this isn't a problem for many of my Southern Blog friends but,
here in upstate New York,..... Gee Whiz !

I have frozen my paw pads so many times that
I got Big cracks in them... and have to
soak my feets in baby oil every night! --
Like Madge on the old Polmolive commercials....
Oh my heavens, I AM Old, I remember MADGE!

and Ronald McDonald was one Scary Clown in the beginning! Remember??
Aaaahhh, I just love the good old days,
of course, they're now referred to as Retro!

Kinda cute. :o) ~ (and I love that TV show!)
Anybody recall a few more of these differences?... my old
brain is tired!

Actually, I know,... I totally selected the wrong wednesday to
whine about cold weather, It really warmed up today...!
BUT, my feets still have cracks from the past month or so,...
And,.... I know this day is just a teaser!
Hey, it's still February in the North! :o)

Do enjoy this nice surprisingly warm day though!

Hang in there girl, I hear the economy may get better one day

Aaaah, to be a dog!

Ya know, I really don't mean to be rude here but,
us doggies got it all over you human folks!
We don't live for power and money or judge,
or hold a grudge.

We have that unconditional love thing.
At every moment of our lives we know that if you were
suddenly gone, we would never be happy again....
so we remember this at all times, and even though it may
seem that we're mad at ya'll, we're usually only sad and lonely.
Even though it may seem that we're holding a grudge, because
you went out and left us alone too long, and we peed on the rug,
we aren't mad. We simply just had to go!
Do you know how hard it is to hold it when ya gotta go??
I'm sure some of you have been in this situation at
some point in your life..... Cmon' now,.... remember back,...
anyone out there recall when they peed their pants??
Be honest now, it's really funny, isn't it?
So why isn't it just a little funny when we pee on the rug? :o)

So, when you come home late, and forget I'm waiting for you,
forget to walk me, and forget to feed me..... I will always wiggle,
whine, wag my tail, and climb all over you to lick your face....
because all I know is that I love you, no matter what.

Of course, I'll never bite the hand

that feeds me,
'cuz, I also live for food. :-p
